I had a giant collection when I was 11-15 years old. Nothing spectacular, nothing particularly old, but a lot of contemporary books that would now be of fair value. I don't view comics as an investment, and I would never pay big bucks for something that didn't have personal meaning to me, like something I owned back then. I'm starting to drift back into buying actual comics instead of just buying TPBs, but it's all just for fun, because I never lost my love of the hobby.
