Born and raised in California over 50 years ago (seriously, has it been that long?!?). Moved to Arizona over 30 years ago, cause I can take the heat (it hit a record 122 degrees that year)! Happily married to my amazing wife for more than 30 years and have two boys who are now grown and married also. We also have two small dogs that we adopted from the local animal shelter. I'm a born again Christian (as canned as that term has become) and I live my life by two principles: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength; and love your neighbor as yourself. Romans 1:16
I got into collecting comics when I was 17 and a friend of mine gave me a few Silver Surfer comics for my birthday. I've been hooked ever since. My favorite set to collect was X-Men: The Missing Years, featuring high-grade Bronze Age appearances of the X-men outside their own title, particularly during the time between teams (X-men #67-#93). Nowadays I’m primarily focused on completing the X-Men 94-143 run and any Marvel keys I come across for the right price.
