Thanks for taking a look at my books. My name is Stewart Wieck, and it seems like I've always been up to my ears in geekdom. I've written for Star Wars, EverQuest, Dungeons & Dragons and a bunch of other roleplaying games, plus I founded a roleplaying game company, White Wolf Publishing. I've authored a vampire screenplay, a werewolf novel, and a live-action game. It seems about the only thing I've not written is a comic book. Those I collect.
I've been reading comics since I spent my quarters on them in the early 70's, but like many others, it was the Dark Phoenix saga that completely hooked me. My first X-men book was #107, and I was along for the ride the rest of the way. I've always been primarily a Marvel reader, but I followed the JLA for many years leading up to and through issue #200, and of course didn't miss the New Teen Titans by Wolfman and Perez. I believe there's a lot of excellent storytelling in comics the past several years (even if I don't always agree with the continuity), so my reading continues to be fueled, while CGC has definitely fueled my collecting.
