Owner's Description

The note included in this set for the Treasury of the Republic of Bolivia is an example of the 1 peso issue. The left of the front of the notes depicts the Bolivian coat-of-arms, the denomination in the centre, and a scene of tropical vegetation on the right representing the typical environment of the region. Not all positions were approved in the legislation associated with this issue and this note is a good example of this – Fiscal de Gobierno was retained however the titles DELGADO NACIONAL. and ADMOR DE ADUANA were not and on most notes these are obscured with ññññññññ. However, on this example this blocking text has been misaligned and is in the lower border leaving the old titles still visible. The back of the note is a typical intricate design from ABNC.
