Welcome to a captivating journey through the rich history of Egypt as told by its banknotes. Here, we explore our PMG Graded personal collection spanning from 1915 to the present day, showcasing the evolution of Egyptian currency and the fascinating stories behind each note. We will step together into a world where currency serves not only as a medium of exchange but also as a reflection of a nation's cultural, political, and economic narrative.

Set Description:
The story began in 1898 when Egypt witnessed a pivotal moment in its monetary history with the introduction of the first Egyptian Pound banknotes when the National Bank of Egypt introduced notes in denominations of 50 PT, £1, £5, £10, £50 and £100. Between 1916 and 1917, 25 PT notes were added, together with government currency notes for 5 PT and 10 PT issued by the Ministry of Finance. These early notes, adorned with intricate designs and featuring prominent figures, marked the beginning of a new era in Egypt's financial landscape. Needless to mention how expensive & very hard to get these notes, our featured collection starts with some notes from the 2nd issued series in 1915, the remarkable 10 Pounds Pick#14.

One of the most intriguing aspects of our collection is the diverse array of signatures adorning these banknotes. From governors to finance ministers, each signature represents a steward of Egypt's monetary policy and provides insight into the individuals who shaped the nation's economic destiny.

As we journey through decades marked by wars, revolutions, and economic reforms, we witness the evolution of Egyptian banknotes as resilient symbols of national identity. From the iconic imagery of ancient pharaohs to the modern motifs of industrial progress, these notes encapsulate Egypt's resilience amidst adversity.

Reaching the present day, our collection offers a glimpse into Egypt's future trajectory. With innovative security features and contemporary designs, today's banknotes continue to uphold the legacy of their predecessors while embracing the demands of a rapidly changing world.

In conclusion, our Egyptian-issued banknotes personal collection serves not only as a testament to the beauty of numismatics but also as a portal through which we can uncover the rich tapestry of Egypt's history. Join us as we embark on this extraordinary journey of discovery and appreciation.

Thank you for reading & I invite you to delve deeper into our collection and explore the stories behind each meticulously preserved banknote. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask & share opinions.

Please continue to monitor the set as I continuously update and upgrade the collection, exchanging lower grades for superior ones, including higher grades.
