Owner's Description

Dover, OH The First NB Ch. # (M)4331 PMG 35 $10 1902 PB Fr. 632 SN 2020/A446367E pp C/528 dtd. June 8, 1916. Town was Canal Dover (1st title) until 6/8/1916 when it changed to Dover. R.L. Frazier, Asst. Cashier and J.A. Benfer, President. Frazier becomes cashier in 1930 and Benfer was president for just two years, 1921-1922. A bright and crisp note that is just the seventh large size to be reported with this bank's second title. With none of the other large notes in the census from either of this bank's two titles grading better than Very Fine, this $10 is likely the finest known.

Bank sheet number is a nice repeater, SN 2020.
