Owner's Description

Series 10

100-Baht banknotes, 9th Series, issued for 20 years, intaglio printed only in red, were heavily counterfeited. Accordingly the government decided to issue a new 100 Baht denomination by printing the portrait of the King Rama IX on the front and the Suphannahongse Royal Barge on the back with multi-colored and intaglio printing. There was only 100 Baht denomination as printed by Thomas De La Rue and first issued in 1968.
