Using the Registry — A Step-by-Step Guide

To add notes to the Registry, start by building a set.

Step 1

Log in. If you are not already a member, click "Interested in Joining?" at left and choose a paid or free membership. Completing the process takes about 3 minutes.

Step 2

Once you’ve logged in, you will be navigated to your "Control Panel." From the My Registry Link, select "Notes Set Manager" and you will be brought to the Notes Set Manager Page.

Step 3

Using the Notes Set Manager, select Category, and click "Add New Set" button. (There is no charge to add notes to the Registry.)

Step 4

Select Set Type from the Category Menu.

Step 5

You will be brought to the "Edit Set" screen, where you will then enter a unique set name and provide a set description. Click "Save" and continue on to add notes to the set.

Step 6

Enter your note certification numbers and add anecdotal details about each one in the Note Description field. For example, you can include details about how or when the note was acquired, or historical information or statistics about the note such as population, mintage, etc.

Step 7

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save." Your notes have been added to the Registry.

*The certification number is a string of numbers found on the label.

The PMG certification number consists of six or seven digits followed by a dash and three more digits. Example: 123456-001. When submitting for the Registry, please provide the complete number.
