I began collecting comic books when they were 15 cents.
I could walk to the drugstore (Variety Store, as they are called now)and with my dollar from newspaper delivery, I could by GI Combat, Sgt. Rock (Our Army at War), Batman, Action Comics w/Superman.
And of Course Marvel's Capt America, Daredevil with enough money to by a soda (Tonic).
As a young man I joined the service and in 1979 I was off to the US Marine Corps. My comics were stored away and unlike most horror stories My mother and father only tossed out my toys (GI Joes, Monogram plastic Models and a few comics, not many).
its 2010 and I am a bit long in the tooth, eyes a bit rusty and hairs a bit grey, if not all the way there close enough.
I have an extensive comic collection, with my favorites being Silver Age DC and Marvel, The Bronze age being DC, Marvel, Atlas, Charlton, PC, Warren Magsand the like.
Thats a bit about me for now.
