From Durham, NC. Grew up around great comic shops like Books Do Furnish A Room and Genie's Book Shop. Graduated from Riverside High School in '97, Durham Tech Comm College in 2000, and NCState in '04. Collected from ages 7 to 15 and 28 to current age of 36. Started collecting Batman with 1st issue being 428, remember MTV news coverage, managed to collect issues 400 thru 500 by the time I was 15. Silver Surfer was my next love that I picked up on in the mid 30s with an amazing story called rebirth of Thanos. Jumped on Xmen with Uncanny 281, Jim Lee's 1, Xforce 1, and Xfactor 71. Also got on MacFarlane's Spiderman as did everyone. A job that has led to an 8 yr career at a movie theatre in Lexington, KY and Final Crisis got me back in to collecting comics 8 yrs ago and Bowen bust and cgc books within last few years.
