Camelhmpz's Bio
Like many, I've been collecting US coins since my childhood.

My mother would save "wheat back" pennies (as she would refer to them) and they weren't too uncommon back in the late 80s. Then when I started elementary school somehow I came across a Susan B Anthony dollar and was officially hooked. I was fascinated about this poor coin and it's black sheep sort of status from the public. With it's similar size of a quarter it was no wonder why, but all the same I felt it was a real shame.

I also enjoy collecting Kennedy halves, especially while in my youth. Several reasons, but mainly because they are affordable while in high school, the design is very gorgeous considering the quick development of the design, and my historical interest with the President and his younger brother.

Now as an adult I try to focus with my Susie collection, improving on grades when the opportunity comes around.

Collecting Modern day commemorative coins directly from the mint and sending them in to NGC for grading is like a personal Christmas, you are always eager to see if your presumptions were correct and when they will arrive.
