I have been collecting for over 15 years now, and like most people starting out, I bought a lot of "stuff" and didn't really have a focus. That all changed several years ago when I got bitten by the Libertad bug. They are in my opinion the most beautiful modern coins produced by any country. The core of my collection is gold and silver Libertads, but I am actively branching out into other countries in Central and South America. The coins of Peru, Chile, and Bolivia are of particular interest, as well as Uruguay.
