Mac Man's Bio
I live in New England, and I am a professor of developmental English. As of 2013, I will have earned my Ph.D. in English Literature and Criticism with a special focus on American Literature and Comics.
I am a regular contributor for Sequart, Newsarama, and Nerdspan. Additionally, I've published in number of journals and texts on comics as well as presented at a variety of different conferences on our beloved funny books--including NY Comic Con.
On the collector's side of things, my favorite titles are Amazing Spider-Man, Batman, and Uncanny X-Men. Currently working on collecting SA and BA issues from these titles. I am also going to begin working on a run of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!
