I am trained as a gunssmith who studied ballistics and the engeneering side of the industry. Steels and tooling and fabrication ect.ect. I am disabled . physically with bad hips back knees crushed nerves and a plethora of other issues, including mental ones. I have severe anxiety problems and a few other issies that weigh me down. Everyday is a struggle. Coin collecting is one of only a very few things that makes life ,life and not merely exsisting.firearms stuff.the great outdoors, coins stuff, precious metals stacking, prospecting and rock hounding, these are the things I like to do and am good at. Saddly only coin collecting and stacking does not lay me up for days on end with legs swollen like blimps and too stiff to bend without much effort and a buring sensation from the muscles not being able to stretch more . its horrid. Thanks to coins i have something I can focus on that is relaxing and indoors. I just started collecting coins in march of 2019. I had the chance and bought a 1/4 platinum eagle for stacking and while it was advertised as just in a round airtight ,it came in a pcgs holder ,all graded and serialized .It might as well have been glowing and magic as I was infatuated.the next month when I got my money , I started learning about numismatics . errors and varieties made the concept set in stone for me amd I have never looked back with anything but bewildermant and fondness. I love numismatics as much as I love firearms and music which I am now mentioning. I LOVE alot of music.punk and metal are my favorites,some. Rock n roll and hard rock, grunge and post grunge, industrial and alt rock fall into second favorites catagory, drum n bass, hard trance/nrg and similar make my third favorites and so on.there is a fair amount of country and western too but I do not listen to any ultra modern stuff , especially post 80s pop music, as I dont like it nor do I want to brainwash myself into a selfish complacent helpless fool who has to be told what to do constantly...I will stop myself here .I have nothing much to keep to myself so if you are curious . just ask me! As i am still trying to find my numismatic focus, i can't really say what I am specifically into collecting yet. I am everywhere trying to find something that hold my attention more than the rest."Varieties" is abit broad to specify. But something with varieties may be it. Maybe old coins , maybe foreign...the biggest hurdel is that i make less than $900 monthly to cover all expenses and bills and coins with whats left over.
