Mike Meenderink 's Bio
I have been collecting coins for over 30 years. My father collected early US coins and early US stamps most of which were given to him by my grandfather. The highlights of this collection were his 1914 D and 1909 S VDB Lincoln cents in from what I know now was a very high grade. (coins were auctioned/ sold when I was 19 by my father) I, back then learned just enough to be stupid and dangerous until I grew up a bit and took coins more seriously. From this early exposure to the hobby I have enjoyed the satisfying pursuit of numismatic education along with the thrills and spills of this often expensive and frustrating hobby for many years. I look forward to many more.
