RRGUY's Bio
Like a lot of folks here, I collected coins as a child. I still have most of those coins. I enjoyed the silver dollars, Liberty nickels, pennies, and coins my folks brought home from travels around the world. None of my coins were high grade, but I enjoyed collecting them anyway. I am glad I still have most of them, still as they were so many years ago!!!
Fast forward to 2009. The bug hit again! I started with the State quarters and went from there. I wanted to collect high grade, and settled on NGC PF-70's. I did complete the States, as well as a couple other sets last year.
I collect the coins that I like, and can't do them all, so I have chosen my favorites. I try to pick a series, and build a complete set. I enjoy each and every coin, and love the thrill of the hunt!!!
I also collect LGB trains, (My first love), and Alaska Railroad stuff. I have a very understanding wife, who lets me indulge in these things!!! We can't forget my dog, Caesar, who helps me out all the time!!
I really am glad to be back in the hobby. I have made a lot of new friends, and have been having a ball trying to put together sets.
There are sure a lot of folks who offer help in all areas of this great hobby we enjoy. The ride has been great, and I am looking forward to many more years of fun and fellowship!!!!!
