Having started collecting US Copper in the mid 1950's at the age of 10, followed by migrating to many other series of US coinage, I reached a decision point, as many collectors do. My decison was to focus on the US copper coins I started with. From this decision my single two cent piece, from a type set, grew into what you see here. These coins have tied in nicely to my strong interest in the history of our County during the Civil War period (or the War of Northern Agression, if you prefer).
