LOUIS LOUISIANA PURCHASE EXPO H-2-740 CURVED CLIP @ 1:30 NGC MS 63 Louisiana Purchase Exposition - Palace of Liberal Arts - Dedication April 30 - May 1 1993 - St. Louis

Interesting piece, with a small curved clip visible at 1:30. Originally suspended from an enameled bow-tied American flag.

Dated 1903, as the St. Louis World's Fair was originally scheduled to open in that year, but was delayed until 1904.

It is described by Eglit as LPE-2, but no photo is shown.

Krueger similarly describes this piece, denoting it as Krueger-13, but also lacks a photograph.

The obverse and reverse designs are identical to the regular bronze exhibit award medal, but with an additional line of text indicating "Philippine Exhibit" on the reverse.
