Every set needs a "worst coin." This is the one for my Indian Error Set. The back story is that this coin was dug in 1988 in a Civil War Camp at Bermuda Hundreds, VA. 127 years or so in the ground did its damage, but 30+ years above ground hasn't helped any either. I bet NCS thought I was nuts to send it in! Perhaps it should be reburied. For now, it has a proud place in my collection as the only dug coin! If you look closely, you will see this is an 1861 Indian Cent, 5% off Center.
