Sharply struck in aluminum; the surfaces of this medal are bright white and mark free to the naked eye. It has ample cartwheel luster. As per the NGC census this example is one of only 6 out of 223 graded that has been graded MS-66 with only 2 graded higher, both at MS-67. The overall rarity is R3 (501-2000 known).
