Although similar in design to KM#111, these .2 coins were made by Loyalists in their region. So the design is but a mere copy of the Mexico City one. And occasionally found Over-struck on Cast 8 Reales from Chihuahua and rarely on top of pre-1816 8 Reales in general.
The Durango mint was opened in 1812 by the royalists during the Mexican War of Independence and operated until 1895. It struck 8 Reales with the portrait of Ferdinand VII 1812-22; only the later dates (1819-22) are reasonably common. Many are very crude.
