Owner Comments:

This So-called Dollar is the third of four different medals that were struck for the 1892-3 World’s Columbian exposition that depict the Ferris Wheel and are collectively known as Ferris Wheel Dollars. It is made of aluminum and has bright deep-proof-like surfaces. It has been graded MS-63 DPL by NGC and is the only example to have received the deep proof-like designation. None have been graded higher, making this piece the finest known example. The overall rarity is R5 (76-200 known).
