Owner Comments:
I originally purchased this coin as an off center strike with a minor clip, however, upon receiving the coin it became apparent that what originally looked like a clip was an edge brockage. The coin was full weight so it could not have been struck from an incomplete planchet, and the area that looked like a curved clip was the only area on the coin that had the reeded collar impression. This created quite an unusual appearance since this coin was struck out of collar. In this case the reeding was the reverse impression of reeding from a second adjacent already-struck coin.
Due to the curvature of the planchet, it is apparent that the "10 Filler" denomination side was imparted from the hammer die, and the Holy Crown side was imparted from the anvil die, respectively.
