2023 Cook Islands S$10 Black Swan

This beautiful 2 Oz Silver coin celebrates natural balance through the representation of a beautiful swan. The coin has Black Proof quality, and a wonderful High Relief.

The obverse of the coin presents a beautiful image of a Black Swan, symbol of rarity and exceptionality. The design includes the inscription: "BLACK SWAN" – the name of the coin.

The reverse of the coin features a White Swan with the Effigy of Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: "ELIZABETH II" – the name of the Queen, "COOK ISLANDS" – the issuing country, "10 DOLLARS" – the face value and "2023" – the year of issue.

Limited to a worldwide mintage of 2,500.

CIT and Cook Islands embodies the balance of nature with the representation of opposites with the 2023 Black Swan. On the reverse, the classic white swan parades its untainted plumage, whereas, the obverse features a somber black swan.

No doubt the rare sight of black swans is owed to the fact they are only very seldom found outside of Australia and New Zealand. The natural balance between these two members of of the Genus Cyngnus are wonderfully mirrored on this beautiful piece of art.

The Black Swan is an Australian Native. This graceful bird is generally limited to successful breeding here in Australia. it is the state animal emblem of Western Australia.
