If I had to put one CGC'd comic over all the rest in my collection, it would be this one. This was by far the best Batgirl series DC ever produced and I simply adore Stephanie Brown as both Batgirl and Robin (and have a soft spot for Spoiler too).
It was an honour to meet the original series artist Lee Garbett at LSCC and not only did I come away with this beautiful SS but a personalised Batgirl sketch too. Thanks LG!

I have a new Holy Grail... Batgirl #2 CGC 9.8! This 9.4 was the best copy of this issue I've seen. The #2 has a small colour break mid-spine which seems to be present on almost every issue. I will of course continue to look for a better copy; I know they exist because there are two 9.8s in the census. If anyone wants to make me an offer, just send me a message...

Following on from Phil Noto, the cover art for Batgirl (2009) was taken up by Stanley "Artgerm" Lau. One of the great things about this series was it let Artgerm take a more humorous approach to cover art (in my opinion - please don't write in with complaints, ta). Who'd have thought we'd ever see Batgirl being engulfed by Clayface in the precision art of Mr Lau!?! Fabulous. Just Fabulous.
Oh, I was a little disappointed with the 9.6 on this one...

My favourite Batgirl!
I had the good fortune to meet artist Pere Perez at LFCC 2012. A very nice chap indeed... He signed one of my Birds of Prey comics! We also had a bit of a chuckle when I originally handed him Batgirl #21 to sign... Fans of the series will understand that one!
