Owner's Description
Before I commence providing my "take" on this issue, let me just mention that it is from the Don Rosa Collection, a collection I very much enjoy owning books from.
The great Kaluta (The covers for the Shadow title are simply magnificent) put it into a higher gear, in my opinion, with this cover: "Would the Batman pull the trigger and "end it all" or not in "Killer's Roulette"? as the context is stunning in the mystery that surrounds the Batman not only psychologically ("Killer's Roulete!" baby!) but, likewise, in the physical setting (where the hell is the Batman?).
The stories in this book, read the issue if you wish to enjoy a great comic book, are equal to the cover in my opinion.
I do not recall purchasing this book at my favorite comic book newsstand but, as with really every trip to purchase comic books, I must have been highly anxious to read the latest Detective Comics issue. Of course, I purchased my usual number of copies of Tec 426
Although this book is a keeper, because this Don Rosa Collection copy is incredible, I'll still purchase a CGC 9.8 copy when I find a one worthy of purchase.
Image #2 is of the same comic book, a place holder that will be replaced with a scan or photograph of the back cover of this book.
