Owner's Description

Signed by Mark Waid and Ron Garney. This issue marks the end of volume 1 of Captain America, and is an epilogue of sorts to the events of Man Without a Country. It's a great sendoff issue for the end of the volume and unfortunately cut short a great creative team that was in the midst of something special at the time. Even though we would get more Mark Waid and Ron Garney on Captain America in vol.3, it just wasn't the same.

The books from this run, from #445 to #454 are very special to me as they represent the time period in which I grew to like Captain America and comic books! Thanks goes out to Rich Henn for this.
