Owner's Description
This was the first issue of the run to carry an issue number as well as having a regular old back cover. The first three issues had Vital book printed in a cool pattern all over the back of them. Issue #4 has another nice Lou Fine cover although not of the same caliber as his more memorable works on other titles.
This particular copy is from the Big Apple pedigree and has Off-White to White pages. It shares its spot in this collection with another CGC 9.0 from the Crowley Pedigree. The Crowley notes a mis-cut and doesn't have as nice eye appeal though it does have Off-White pages. As a special note the Crowley 9.0 was the very first Spirit book in the collection. It was purchased on a whim at the San Diego Comic Con in 2002 and spawned my quest for the rest.
