This one graded much higher than I was expecting.
I always wondered about the timeline of this comic relative to the cartoon... why even publish it under the name Macross? The trade dress is also different from the rest of the series.
So I just looked it up, and this issue is dated Dec 84, and according to Wikipedia, the first episode of the animated series aired on March 4, 1985.
