Owner's Description

Cyclops leaves the X-men. Funeral for Jean Grey. Yes, it has been a long and hard Claremont run, and the toll on Scott Summers (Cyclops) psyche is troubled. The irony of the cause and effect that happened with Jean Grey passing on, a psi capable Mutant herself, is not lost on this reader. Yes, the heart is finicky, yet there is one who reigns over the heart if we turn and look upwards, the sun will beam through our eyes again. It may come at first as tears, and also, making us more "aware" of and anticipate the future! The warm and fuzzies can be found again when we are honest with our grief. A longing from the soul and for the same. The choices have been made and the lots were cast, so here in the X-men, it may yet again be a new beginning. Keeping the timeless with a bit of closure, and we all must face front to hold true. All in all, a day of mourning comes for the Uncanny! Bought from Dave and Adams! They had a lot of the run available already slabbed and somewhat affordable too.

Complete with a back cover picture of a Marvel Card, since CGC is grading those now! Sometimes when Cyclops would get extra ticked off or sad, he'd let out an optic blast in frustration! I wonder if he ever used it to send off an S.O.S. beacon, as that would probably work!

Grader Notes;
very light creasing to cover.
