Owner's Description
A Signature Series book with an odd choice of signer - the respectable X-Men writer, Chris Claremont. I spoke with the original submitter for this one who told me that he chose to get this one signed by Claremont because he was the creator of the character Binary, who appears on the cover with Quasar.
Some people may like this logic or disagree with the signature selection completely, but either way this is a nice, high-grade example of this issue, featured here with the Direct Market edition labeled as issue #3 - a numbering that was only intended for the UPC Newsstand editions so as to include Quasar in the "Operation: Galactic Storm" crossover as the title had been Direct Market only for some time as of when this crossover was launched.
