Ebay auction win - January 2024. There are currently 4 of the 32 copies total that are graded 9.8 - making this one tied with 3 others as HIGHEST GRADED on the CGC Census.
This issue features the second appearance of Scott Free, aka Mr Miracle, following the events of B&B #113. The story is about a foreign leader of an Oil rich country being kidnapped in the US and Batman having to try and recover him. Comically, he asks for Mr Mircale's help and will only get it if he can escape from a booby trap faster than he, the world's greatest escape artist, can. Not much of a hero if you ask me...and also, not exactly the world's greatest escape artist since Batman does escape quicker than he...but I'm nitpicking here!
