Issue #122 features a great Dick Dillon and Shelly Moldoff cover in which Superman is wanted by an alien civilization, and is delivered for trial by Batman and Robin. This 1961 issue is one of the toughest to find in high grade and our 9.4 was the first high grade example we have seen since we began this collection. It’s not ideal in that it has cream/off-white pages, but that’s one of the things you occasionally have to settle for when collecting early SA DCs.
There are only 32 copies of this book ever certified by CGC. Our 9.4 is tied for second highest graded trailing a single 9.6. We acquired the book from the 6/21/2024 CL Auction.
