Owner's Description
The Ocean Master makes another appearance in Issue #32. In "Tryton the Terrible", Aquaman faces perils on all fronts as Ocean Master steals an American atomic missile, not knowing that the device he has stolen is primed to detonate soon, while Dr. Tryton, an ancient Atlantean scientist, is transformed into a maddened giant. However, fear not, as Tryton wrests the weapon away from the Ocean Master and smothers its detonation with his own body, dying in the process. Of course, the Ocean Master escapes, swearing vengeance on Aquaman.
There are no 9.8s of this issue, with our WP 9.6 tied with two others for highest graded as of June 2020. We picked this copy up in the 6/12/2019 ComicConnect auction.
2024 Update: The population of 9.6s has grown to four, but still no 9.8s.
