1st appearance of Wendigo. An Upgrade! I'm Much Appreciative to find this in the wild and be a "thriftier shopper" as a newcomer back to the hobby. I am glad to find it cheap enough early on in my collecting about 2016-17. It really encouraged me! It is again the Wendigo issue with mystical references and a whole lot of the Hulk. This book has not been pressed, it was a straight sub. I'm super happy to have an 8.5 in the newer case. A perfect affordable entry. Probably a Pressable Candidate, but I'm not looking a gift horse in the mouth, ha! It's all good in the book of decent finds, with timing, my prayer always. I bought it raw for $15 from my favorite DVD store, and the cost to slab back then was only like $20. I sent it in through Titan Comics, as at the time I didn't have my own membership to CGC. I still was learning to grade, and it made me feel confident when I nailed it!
Complete with a back cover picture of the tote bags given away at the prescreen of, "Dune: Part 2!" Toting the imprint of the film on the bag and alluding to thriftier shopping till you drop in the wild! The film even shows off with wild beasts that need to be tamed, behemoths even, but this time it is worms, instead of Wendigo. The film had its own type of talisman, such as Wendigo had, with the Dunes' "water of life!"
