I think it is really cool that this John Henry Irons took up the mantle of Superman to honor his memory and used a big hammer! I had all of the Steel books as well. I really liked this character and his motivation for becoming a hero... if anybody killed this John Henry it wasn't a hammer like in the folk song though, it was Shaquille O'Neal's acting skills!

I snagged this book off of eBay at a really good time for only $19.99.

The second picture is of my favorite Steel figure in my collection.
