In addition to a Batwoman appearance, Issue #285 features a full page ad for JLA #1. It’s remarkable to think that those two issues hit the newsstands at the same time. We own 9.6 copies of both books. There are three 9.6s topping the census counting our book; while there are two 9.6 JLA #1s counting ours, which do the same. However, this book set us back $1,100 in November 2022, while one of the JLA #1 9.6s would probably now cost at least 100 times that amount: one of the many times you might wish for a time machine LOL. Our 9.6 copy of Issue #285 comes from the Alfred Pennyworth Collection. We acquired the book from the 11/28/2022 CL Auction.
