Brief Description:
The Press Gang (Punchout, Pipeline and Hawkshaw) travels to Australia to retrieve a former genoshan nurse Jenny Ransome, who tested positive for mutant genes. Madelyne Pryor gets in the way and is taken captive too. Later they also capture Wolverine and Rogue. Pipeline teleports them all back to Genosha, but leaves some Magistrates behind, which are defeated by the other X-Men.

Full Summary:
Genosha is an island nation on the east coast of Africa. At night a citizen sneaks to the well secured airport and hides his baby in a plane leaving for Australia. The Magistrates are hot on his trail, he leads the troups away from the plane and tries to escape, but he has no chance against the overwhelming odds, even though he possesses superstrength he is shot down. The last image he sees is the plane taking off. The Magistrates mention a genegineer who breeds his muties tough.
Two days later, the genoshan Press Gang travels to Australia for two tasks: retriving the baby, and nurse Jenny Ransome, another genoshan citizen, whose test results were positive too. The Press Gang consists of the strong and tough Punchout, Hawkshaw, with the ability to scan people, and Pipeline who can digitalize people and teleport them along telephone lines. They fake a call to the flying doctors, who respond and send a small aircraft with Jenny Ransome and auxiliary pilot Madelyne Pryor. The two girls are quickly defeated, Hawkshaw wonders that he can’t get a reading from Madelyne, he can’t tell if she is human, mutant, or something else. Pipeline then sends both females to Genosha.
Later the X-Men investigate and Wolverine catches the scent of the kidnappers. The X-Men follow the Press Gang to the hospital were the genoshan baby was taken after it had been discovered in that plane. Rogue and Logan enter the hospital disguised and find the Press Gang inside. They easily defeat Punchout, but they are taken by surprise as Pipeline teleports in some reenforcements. Both Rogue and Logan are rendered uncoscious by some explosives. While the human magistrates team keeps the rest of the X-Men busy, the Press Gang takes Rogue and Wolverine with them back to Genosha. Without their superhuman comrades the Magistrates are no match for the X-Men, they are delivered to the police with a card on top of them; on the card is the star Madelyne designed as the X-Men’s new symbol.
