Synopsis:
Lt. Falcon is leading an attack on Cobra Terrordromes in Trucial Abysmia. The Joes follow a Cobra vehicle on a prearranged escape route to prevent any calls for help. However, they find themselves surrounded by tanks and Maggots, indicating that they have fallen into a trap.
Meanwhile, Snake-Eyes arrives at the midtown New York hospital where Scarlett was being treated. He encounters a guard who allows him to pass when he notices Snake-Eyes' array of medals on his uniform. However, they find Scarlett's room empty, and Stalker and Hawk explain the events that have transpired.
In Trucial Abysmia, the Joes are fighting it out, and soon all frequencies are jammed. Breaker's radio is destroyed, leaving them with no communication. Duke surrenders to Tomax and Xamot after the Joes' vehicles are destroyed, and he is beaten by the twins.
Snake-Eyes confronts Cobra Commander at the Cobra Consulate Building in New York and delivers a personal message to him. Hawk meets General Crowther at the National Archives, and he convinces him to forget about Snake-Eyes, Storm Shadow, and Stalker. The story ends with Snake-Eyes, Stalker, Scarlett, and Storm Shadow settling down in a suburban neighborhood and Marina, the child they rescued earlier, being welcomed into the family.
