Owner's Description
"Titans Tomorrow (Part II of III) - Tales of the Titans" Superboy sneaks into the headquarters of the adult Titans and discovers them torturing Deathstroke. Superman sears his arm off with his heat vision. Rushing back to their rooms at Titans Tower, he tells the rest of the Teen Titans that the Titans are a bunch of super-villains.
Deathstroke miraculously escapes and goes into the hanger bay where he finds the Teen Titans. They briefly fight one another until the Titans show up to finish him off. Superman tries to kill Deathstroke with his heat vision. The Teen Titans scoop Deathstroke up and escape from the tower. Dark Raven sends her soul self after them, but she is only able to retrieve Robin.
The remaining Teen Titans go to Keystone City. Bart wants to visit the Flash Museum in the hopes of finding an operative cosmic treadmill. They discover that the entire state has been turned into a Flash Museum.
Batman takes Robin back to the Bat-cave. Tim asks his older self why he became such a cold-blooded murderer. Batman tells him that it began with a "crisis" wherein Duella Dent went on a city-wide rampage. Bruce Wayne and Alfred Pennyworth became victims of her bloodlust. After that, Tim inherited the mantle of the bat. Changing his moral code, he sought out and murdered many of Batman's most infamous foes including the Scarecrow, Joker and the Penguin. Batman and Robin begin fighting one another, but Tim simply doesn't have the strength or experience to conquer his older self.
Back in Keystone City, the rest of the Teen Titans fail in their quest to find a cosmic treadmill. Instead, what they find is the active super-human resistance cell – Titans East! Its roster consists of Cyborg, Ravager, Bumblebee, Terra, Captain Marvel Jr., and Flamebird.
