Owner's Description

This is the Dynamic Forces Exclusive Cover by Alex Ross.

Also pictured is one of the signed editions of the DF cover that I ordered, #712 of 2500 signed by Alex Ross, which I also had signed by Steve Epting when he was in Toronto recently and had Ed Brubaker sign it at Heroes Con 2009.

Personal Note:

This graded comic was actually made available for order through Dynamic Forces. What was a little upsetting is that when I was looking through the order form with my LCS guy, only graded 9.6's were available for order along with raw copies. I obviously did not want to order a 9.6, so I ordered 2 raw copies in the hopes that at least 1 would be gradeable. Surprise hits when I get my copies in and they're signed by Alex Ross! I'm not upset that the comics are signed, but as a result of that I cannot submit the books for Signature Series grading because of that or the Universal Label because it would automatically get a Qualified grade.

And why is it that when I made the order that there was no indication of whether or not the raw copies would be signed?!?! Alot of confusion and woe would have been avoided if: 9.8 copies were clearly available for pre-order and if there was a distinction between ordering signed and unsigned raw copies of th ebook.

As a result I had to go to "feebay" and I luckily found an already graded 9.8 copy for a very reasonable Buy It Now price.

I wonder if there are any raw DF variants that AREN'T signed ... and if there are, why didn't I get those instead of the signed ones?

All in all, it's still a happy ending for me, as I now have this blue label 9.8 book and signed raw copies of the book as well.
