.....Well here we are no 275... My Heart is Sinking here...The Final Issue in what i think... is the most Amazing Run that Marvel has ever Produced....Well as you Know i am Still Slightly Biased on the Subject....I have so Enjoyed Putting Pen to paper, well i should really say computer key to laptop, more up to date, showing my age, and Describing in i hope some Detail with also a Little bit of what makes me Tick....To all the Amazing Artists who Produced such Stunning Artwork that Spanned this Run and to the Story Tellers who gave us such Amazing Adventures....Conan the Barbarian has been such a huge part of my Brother and my Life and that Love has never Diminished in all that Time....I Suppose thats what sets us Somewhat Excentric Collectors apart....And yes to me it is so much more than just Monetary gain , a Love and Passion that is Deep inside you.When you have that, that is collecting in my book.....
A Quick Story here....My Partner, once said to me that i think more of my Comics than i think of them and if there was a Choice between my Stunning Other half, no arm twisting here , or a rare 9.9 say no 2 Conan lying there in front of me that i would throw myself at the Comic....I Said well that is Where you are wrong, of course i would throw myself at you, there is No way i would risk damaging a 9.9 Copy by Doing that.....Yes i was on the Couch that night but let me say we are still Blissfully happy together after all these years....I am Talking about my Partner here not the Comic i might add.....
I Have Loved Collecting these Comics over the Years. And i might add my Heart still Jumps a Beat when i see Something New and i Hope that will never Change.

Just to say ....For myself i have seen many great Conan Collections come and go over the years, of course it is always sad to see a collection broken up when someones taken so many years to build it up but then of course these end up in new collections so the ever Rotating cycle continues.For myself there is One Guy in particular i always remember and that was Mr Vadar....There was a Wonderfully healthy Rivalry between us when it came to buying certain choice issues...9-10 Times i would get outbid by him in the Auctions , ok to be honest 10-10 Times and even when that happened and the air was filled with slightly Colourful Language. I still had a Great Respect for this Gent and the Passion he also had for Collecting this treasured Run.He once sent me a Super email about my Collection it really did mean a lot to me.From 1 Great Collector to another.I always Remember the very kind words he used....When his Collection was broken up it was a very sad day for me thou i might add i now had a much better chance of winning copies at Future Auctions but yes i did miss that friendly Rivalry....
I Think there is nothing better than when you have other Fellow Collectors with that equal Passion and Drive for what they are doing....
Who would have thought that Comics could bring such Joy...Well by Gum this Englishman does.....
