Synopsis: Not even Pete's psionic powers can protect his friends from a very real consequence of their rebellion -- a bullet in the chest.
Wounded in a battle with Harbinger forces, Kris is rushed to the hospital by Pete and the others. There, they are befriended by a doctor who gives them refuge in his home. Leaving Kris there, the others go to invade Harada's headquarters in New York.
