Owner's Description

One of the "TRUE" rare "DARK" (black background coloring) variant printer error.

CGC currently doesn't know how to "Treat" these rarities.

I have other copies of this comic rated CGC 9.8 (#1561544020), CGC 9.6 (#1217690006--another with the rare "black" background), and CGC 9.0 (#0299697003) in my collection.

I acquired my 2 "Black background variants" copies before people began to take notice of the coloring differences.

I looked for the (Black) background variants because I thought it made the 3 figures of Gwen Stacey "pop-out" more from the cover--just my personal opinion.

In one universe, it wasn't Peter Parker bitten by the radioactive Spider, but Gwen Stacy! She's smart, charming and can lift a car-- Just don't tell her Police Chief father!
