Raises Economy Value Limits

PMG celebrated its two-year anniversary in February 2007, and conducted a comprehensive review of its services and procedures. Following this review, PMG has implemented several changes to its tier structure to better meet the needs of the currency marketplace, and to better align service guidelines with the overall mix of notes being submitted for grading.

Most significantly, PMG has raised the declared value limit for its Economy grading tier for both U.S. and World currency. Under the Economy tier, notes valued up to $1,000 can now be submitted for grading to PMG for just $25.00 per note. Rising currency values is the major reason for this increase in value limits. In addition, bulk services for high volume submissions have also been expanded. The value limit has similarly been raised to $1,000 per note and services for consecutive and non-consecutive notes have been extended to Collectors Society and ANA member submitters.

Glen Jorde, Grading Finalizer, comments, “PMG is committed to responding to changes in the marketplace, as well as to the comments we receive from our customers. Raising the value limit for the economy tier is just one such example. For some dealers and collectors, this is a meaningful price reduction on our services, and we know that our submitters will be very happy.”

Questions about PMG tiers and services should be directed to PMG Customer Service at 1-877-PMG-5570 or by email at service@PMGnotes.com. Dealers and Collectors Society/ANA submitters can request updated price guides for PMG Services.
