The Monetary Authority of Singapore is set to release a new $1000 note in 2017.

Singapore has two new colorful notes that will be available soon in the PMG Registry. President Encik Yusof bin Ishak is depicted in fine detail on the front side of both notes and security features are similar on both notes, as well.

The $1000 note has just been announced for release in 2017. It will have a rose and black color scheme with a hint of yellow. A new symbol has also been printed on this striking note; it has a small solid house icon below the word “GOVERNMENT” on the back of the note.

The $100 note was introduced in August of 2016. The color scheme is more peach, yellow, and green toned, with a touch of blue. On the back of this note, youth in various armed services are carefully and proudly depicted, and there is also a new symbol of a diamond below the word “YOUTH” on the back of the note.
