Set Description:
Possibly my second favorite Nedor title. I waver often though. I began collecting only those Wonders with Grim Reaper covers and would pass on the others. My loss as when I started these issues were much more affordable. I have since completed the entire run with almost all slabbed now. Issue #9 was the tough one to find. I now have two copies, though both are low graders and I don't feel are slab-worthy. #13 was another tough one but I have a decent copy now heading to CGC very soon.
Not sure why I didn't at first click with the Wonderman covers as those are some of my favorites - especially the Graham Ingels covers. Kind of a nice change of pace between Schomburg drawn and painted (Xela) covers.
So in a 20 issue series, you start with an insane Hitler, Tojo, Hirohito cover, followed by a few more cool Schomburg war covers, then some sci-fi Ingels stuff, move to some incredible Xela (Schomburg) painted covers and there's even a few pages of Frank Frazetta art in to boot. Cool stuff!
