A lovely, titled sentiment that has the usual laughs for horror. Cake or pie covers start flying early for this book in my collection. Acquired through means of a Christmas/New Years holiday raffle in 2022. Got to love the boards, and an opportunity to be a giver. Complete with a holiday theme itself, or that kind of frivolity, it seems fitting the comical joy of these covers. Despite, sort of, being a horror series, we all have those times when we need the twinge of humor to cut the mustard. Mustard cake? ewww! Added the connecting cover of Ice Cream Man #24, for the full effect!
Ha-ha you're dead~ Was a good song by Green Day. Less slapstick and more, in your FACE. This series takes an iconic role of looking at the seriousness of life to play it into an alternate, making light of the future with clowns.
It is the era of a joke but an unsettling one, and regardless, it is when acquired during boards frivolity that it becomes inspiring and a relief to joke, love and laugh, to live and let live! Those "horror" type that take into the forefront by sidestepping age old colloquialisms like "the horror of clowns and the ice cream man." It means that it is fair game in the day and age where it takes a lot to seem "new" and or just keep the train a rolling. A niche by any other name can still catch the eye and be able to be considered a snatch for collaging in any collection and or scrapbooking. It takes friends, families, the boards, and whatever modern era brands that keep love turning in the world. It is like the water or word; indeed, love is an ocean!
