There are some 1st appearances in them their hills. Like it or not, these promotions are, or could be, good for the hobby. Get the people into the brick and mortars and give away some comics. Just make them worth the effort. Those ratty tatty comics were built sturdier than once thought! Give your Local Comic Shop some love. I'm blessed to live in a large metropolitan area, and there is enough LCS to go around. Even still, there are a few areas that I'd proposition a LCS to open if it were all that easy to accomplish! Ha!

It is fun for the entire family, nothing beats Free Comic Book Day to take your kids, girl or boyfriends, spouses, or even the neighbor's dogs to cats! Always the 1st Saturday in May!

Free! Free! Free! It is possible to expect the unexpected when palling around at the Local Comic Store. Owners are inbound to serve it up right at their front door! How's about a comic or two, and a fan favorite title at that, to take home and enjoy on your own time. Spend as much time as needed in store as well, maybe making a contribution in statue, slab, or even sometimes posters or clothing. It is a rite of passage that reminds us that forever young are the ways of heroes. They come in all shapes and sizes, with many unrecognizable in plain clothes! Who knows what super heroines may be looking to stop crime or even read their own stories by DC, Marvel, and or other. Some may come suited up as well in their Sunday best, to show out and especially if there is a guest artist and or creator visiting. These and many other a twist and turn on Free Comic Book Day! Check your local listings!
