Set Description:
The Question was created by writer-artist Steve Ditko for Charlton comics in 1967. The character appeared in a few issues of Blue Beetle before starring in the 1968 Charlton one-shot Mysterious Suspense, his first solo outing. In 1975, The Question was again featured in issue 5 of Charlton Bullseye. DC acquired from Charlton many characters such as Blue Beetle, The Question, and others in 1983.
The 1987 DC Comics Question series is a brilliant comic series by Dennis ONeil and Denys Cowan, with many covers by Bill Seinkeiwicz. Lots of action, but some deep philosophical explorations as well.
The Question contains 36 issues, plus issue 37, which is a Blackest Night entry; two Annuals, five issues of The Question Quarterly, and a 1997 one-shot, The Question Returns.
